第一条  组织机构
 
  北京肖邦国际青少年钢琴比赛是一项国际性音乐赛事,面向全世界的青少年钢琴演奏家,参赛年龄12至26岁,每三年举办一届。
 
  第一届北京肖邦国际青少年钢琴比赛(以下简称比赛)将于2016年10月17日至30日在中国北京举行,比赛经中华人民共和国文化部批准,由中国中央音乐学院主办、乐东方(北京)文化艺术有限公司承办、北京二十一世纪中波文化艺术交流中心特别协办。波兰肖邦研究院、华沙肖邦音乐大学、密茨凯维奇学院、波兰驻华大使馆文化处、天街集团支持。组委会主席俞峰、副主席赵跃龙、艺术总监吴迎、赛事主任李民、评委会主席卡塔瑞娜.波波娃.瑞德龙。评委由安杰伊•雅辛斯基(波兰)、希普林•卡萨利斯(法国)、但昭义(中国)、蒂娜•约菲(拉脱维亚)、约翰•奥康纳(爱尔兰)、玛尔塔•索辛斯卡(波兰)、米哈伊尔•瓦斯克列申斯基(俄罗斯)、彼得•帕莱齐内(波兰)等著名中外钢琴家、钢琴音乐教育家组成。
 
第二条  选手资格
 
  1990年1月1日至2004年12月31日之间出生的世界各国的青少年钢琴演奏者均可报名参赛。比赛分为青年组和少年组,少年组选手可以申报参加青年组比赛;
 
  青年组:1990年01月01日至1998年12月31日
 
  少年组:1999年01月01日至2004年12月31日
 
第三条  报名
 
  1.报名请登录www.chopin.com.cn或肖邦.中国(中国肖邦网)注册,并填写报名表,报名时间为2016年4月1日至2016年8月10日。
 
  2.参赛者报名完成即等同于接受第一届北京肖邦国际青少年钢琴比赛章程并与赛事组委会订立了参赛协议。
 
  3.报名参赛的选手需缴纳报名费人民币600元或美元100元。
 
  (缴费办法详见选手报名页)
 
  4.报名材料填写不全者视作无效。
 
第四条  上交材料
 
  1.参赛选手采用录制演奏视频,通过网络上传并邮寄的形式参加预选赛,演奏视频内容及录制要求为此章程第五条之预选赛曲目;
 
  2.演奏视频应于2016年08月10日(含)前上传并邮寄;
 
  (1)上传方式:通过email发送到master@chopin.com.cn 
 
  注意:选手上传视频应该和填写报名资料表格一同发送。该表格可在网站选手报名页下载。
 
  (2)邮寄:演奏视频上传完成后,参赛选手须将演奏视频内容和报名表格一同刻录光盘或U盘邮寄至赛事组委会。

  3.护照标准照片应随演奏视频光盘或U盘一并寄出,该照片需与报名系统中上传的照片一致,注明英文(拼音)姓名和出生年月日。
 
  4.报名材料不全者无效,报名材料不退还。
 
第五条  选拔曲目
 
  1.少年组:
 
  (1)练习曲二首选自:作品10、25 (作品10之3、6,作品25之7除外)
 
  (2)一首作品选自:即兴曲、幻想即兴曲、夜曲和摇篮曲
 
  (3)一首作品选自:叙事曲(作品52除外)、谐谑曲(作品54除外)、回旋曲、波莱罗舞曲、变奏曲
 
  2.青年组:
 
  (1)练习曲二首选自:作品10、25(作品10之3、6,作品25之7除外)
 
  (2)玛祖卡舞曲一组 (要求按顺序演奏一个作品号中的所有舞曲)
 
  (3)一首乐曲选自:叙事曲作品52、谐谑曲作品54、船歌、幻想曲、或6首连号的前奏曲
 
  3.演奏视频标准:录制时应保证包含但不限于琴凳以上的参赛选手的侧面身体、手、钢琴键盘完整清晰地出现在同一画面中;
 
  4.演奏视频不得后期视频剪辑和音频调整,视频中可显示曲目名称和曲目作者,但不得有任何参赛选手信息的内容;
 
  5.全部曲目应背谱演奏;
 
  6.通过比赛选拔赛进入正式比赛选手的名单将于2016年8月17日在www.chopin.com.cn或肖邦.中国(中国肖邦网)公布。
 
第六条  比赛曲目
 
  1.少年组:
 
  (1)第一轮:
 
  ①练习曲二首选自:作品10、25 (作品10之3、6,作品25之7除外)
 
  ② 波兰舞曲一首 (作品22、44、53、61除外)
 
  (2)第二轮:
 
  ①圆舞曲一首
 
  ②一首作品选自:即兴曲、幻想即兴曲、夜曲和摇篮曲
 
  ③一首作品选自:叙事曲(作品52除外)、谐谑曲(作品54除外)、回旋曲、波莱罗舞曲、变奏曲
 
  ④中国作品一首(比赛指定中国作品 约5分钟)
 
  (3)决 赛:一首钢琴与乐队作品选自
 
  ① 莫扎特唐璜主题变奏曲 作品2
 
  ② 波兰民歌幻想曲 作品13
 
  ③ 克拉维亚克回旋曲 作品14
 
  2.青年组:
 
  (1) 第一轮:
 
  ①练习曲二首选自:作品10、25(作品10之3、6,作品25之7除外)
 
  ②一首波兰舞曲选自:
 
   安静的行板与大波兰舞曲 作品22
 
   升 f 小调波兰舞曲 作品44

  第一名 30000美元和金奖证书

  4.特别奖:
 
  波兰密茨凯维奇学院将邀请各组第一名于2017年访问波兰。
 
第八条  关于获奖
 
  1.获奖选手应按中国法律缴纳所得税。
 
  2.进入第二轮比赛(复赛)且未进决赛的选手将获得奖状。
 
  3.比赛评委会有权决定奖项并列及空缺;
 
  4.大赛可增设其它特别奖;
 
  5.比赛评委会的裁决不可更改。
 
  6.进入第二轮比赛选手的证书将于第二轮比赛结束后颁发;
 
  7.获奖选手的奖状、专项奖和特别奖将在获奖者音乐会上颁发;
 
  8.获奖选手的奖金将在所有音乐会结束后颁发(不晚于2016年11月01日)。
 
  9.所有获奖选手有免酬参加获奖者音乐会及其后三场音乐会的义务。缺席获奖者音乐会演出者将失去其奖金,获奖者需演奏赛事组委会指定曲目。
 
第九条  选手权益
 
  1.中国国内参赛选手自费承担往返北京的旅费,组委会将对国际参赛选手给予适当的旅费补贴,亚太地区200美元,欧美地区500美元。
 
  2.自第二轮比赛起赛事组委会将负担选手所参赛轮次期间的食宿费用,赛事组委会为进入决赛的选手提供往返旅费(按赛事组委会实际确定的标准)。
 
  3.赛事组委会按照统一安排为所有参赛选手提供练习用琴,赛事组委会将为进入决赛的选手安排一次与乐队合练。
 
  4.比赛自始至终按照报到时抽签的排列顺序进行,直至比赛结束。
 
  5.参赛选手向赛事组委会无偿出让以下权益:
 
  预选赛和正式比赛时的演奏版权、获奖者音乐会的演奏版权、预选赛及正式比赛和获奖者音乐会的所有影像和录音版权。(以上演奏版权的出让包括复制邻接权、用于出售、转让、计算机储存和在网络上发布、向公众重播、展示、放映、许可、通过地面站或卫星进行有线或无线传播、通过电台和电视台实况转播和录播等)。
 
  6.获奖选手以及其他比赛选手赋予赛事组委会优先签约权(在比赛期间和赛后三个月中)。
 
第十条  免责声明
 
  1.如遇不可抗力致使比赛无法进行,赛事组委会不承担任何责任。
 
  2.此章程以中文文本为准,解释权归赛事组委会。
 
  3.此章程发布后如有变动以组委会官方网站最新公布为准。

Rules of 1st Beijing International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Young Pianists
 
 
Article 1 Co-organizers
 
Beijing International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Young Pianists is a biennial international music competition open to youth aging 12 to 26 from all over the world, which is held every three years.
 
The main competition of 1st Beijing International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Young Pianists (hereinafter referred to as “the Competition”) will be held in Beijing, China on October 17-30, 2016. The Competition is approved by Ministry of Culture of People’s Republic of China, hosted by China Central Conservatory of Music, organized by the Musical China (Beijing) Culture and Arts Co., Ltd, special co-organized by the Beijing 21st Century Sino-Polish Culture & Arts Exchange Center. It is supported by the Fryderyk Chopin Institute, The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music, the Culture.pl, Polish Institute – Culture Service of the Polish Embassy in Beijing and the TIANJIE GROUP. The Organizing committee will comprise Yu Feng as Chairman, Zhao Yuelong as Vice Chairman, Wu Ying as Art Director, Li Min as Director of Competition Department, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń as Chair of the Judging board. The Judging board of the Competition will comprise famed Chinese and foreign pianists and piano educationists as jury team including Andrzej Jasiński (Poland), Cyprien Katsaris (France), Dan Zhaoyi (China), Dina Yoffe (Latvia), John O'Conor (Ireland), Marta Sosińska-Janczewska (Poland), Mikhail Voskresensky (Russia), Piotr Paleczny (Poland) etc..
 
 
 
Article 2    Contestants
 
The Competition is open to youth from all over the world who were born between January 1, 1990 and December 31, 2004. Contestants will be categorized into senior and junior groups. Junior contestants may enter for competition with seniors.
Senior group: born between January 1, 1990 and December 31, 1998.
Junior group: born between January 1, 1999 and December 31, 2004.
 
 
 
Article 3    Application
 
3.1 Contestants shall log on to www.chopin.com.cn for registration and application for the Competition. The application shall be submitted between April 1 and Aug 10, 2016.
3.2 Contestants’ submission of application will be tantamount to the acceptance of the Rules and the conclusion of competition participation agreement with the Organizing Committee of the Competition.
3.3 The application fee for contestants is RMB 600 or USD 100.

3.4 Incomplete application will be deemed invalid.
 
 
 
Article 4    Submission of Audiovisual Recording
 
4.1 Contestants shall participate in the preliminary round by uploading and sending by post the audiovisual recording of the repertoire referred to in Article 5 hereof before they have a chance to qualify for the main competition.
4.2 The audiovisual recording shall be uploaded and sent by post no later than Aug 10, 2016.
4.2.1 Uploading: Contestants shall send video via email to master@chopin.com.cn
Note: Video shall be send together with application form. The application form can be downloaded via contestant’s application page on the website.
4.2.2 Sending by post: The recording shall be stored on a DVD or flash disk and sent together with application form by post to the Organizing Committee at:

4.3 A photo up to passport requirements and identical to the one uploaded for application shall be sent by post with the DVD or flash disk. Contestant’s name (in English or pinyin) and date of birth (mm-dd-yyyy) shall be noted.
4 Incomplete submission will be deemed invalid and will not be returned.
 
 
 
Article 5    Repertoire for Preliminary Round
 
 
5.1 Junior group:
Two etudes by Chopin (except Op.10 No.3, Op.10 No.6 and Op.25 No.7)
One of the following pieces by Chopin: Impromptus (including Fantaisie-Impromptu), Nocturnes and Lullaby
One of the following pieces by Chopin: Ballades (except Op.52), Scherzos (except Op.54), Rondos, Bolero and Variations
5.2 Senior group:
Two etudes by Chopin (except Op.10 No.3, Op.10 No.6 and Op.25 No.7)
A full set of Mazurkas by Chopin (Mazurkas shall be played in the order they are numbered in the opus)
One of the following pieces by Chopin: Ballade (Op.52), Scherzo (Op.54), Barcarolle, Fantasies, and a set of six consecutive Preludes by Chopin
5.3 Criteria for the recording: The keyboard, contestant’s hands and either side of his/her body above the bench should also be clearly presented in the recording.
5.4 The sound and moving images shall not be edited. The title and author of the pieces may be displayed in the recording. No information relating to the contestant may be displayed in the recording.
5.5 The repertoire shall be played from memory.
5.6 The list of contestants admitted to the main competition will be made public on Aug 17, 2016 via www.chopin.com.cn.
 
 
 
Article 6    Repertoire for Main Competition
 
Junior group:
Stage I:
Two etudes by Chopin (except Op.10 No.3, Op.10 No.6 and Op.25 No.7)
One Polonaise by Chopin (except Op.22, Op.44, Op.53 and Op.61)
Stage II:
One Waltz by Chopin
One of the following pieces by Chopin: Impromptus (including Fantaisie-Impromptu), Nocturnes and Lullaby
One of the following pieces by Chopin: Ballades (except Op.52), Scherzos (except Op.54), Rondos, Bolero and Variations
One Chinese piece (Designated Chinese piece, about five minutes)
Final: One of the following pieces for piano and orchestra by Chopin:
Variations Op.2: sur “la ci darem la mano” de “Don Juan” de Mozart
Fantasie Op.13: sur des airs nationaux poloais
Krakowiak Op.14: Grand Rondeau de Concert
Senior group:
Stage I:
Two etudes by Chopin (except Op.10 No.3, Op.10 No.6 and Op.25 No.7)
One of the following Polonaises by Chopin:
 Op.22: Andante spianato et Grande polonaise brillante
 Op.44: Polonaise in f-sharp minor
 Op.53: Polonaise in A-flat major
 Op.61: Polonaise-Fantaisie
Stage II:
One of the following Sonatas by Chopin: Op.35 and Op.58
A full set of Mazurkas by Chopin (Mazurkas shall be played in the order they are numbered in the opus)
One of the following pieces by Chopin: Ballade (Op.52), Scherzo (Op.54), Barcarolle, Fantasies, and a set of six consecutive Preludes

Article 7    Prizes
 
Junior group:
1st prize: USD 20,000 and a gold award certificate
2nd prize: USD 10,000 and a silver award certificate
3rd prize: USD 8,000 and a bronze award certificate
4th prize: USD 5,000 and a certificate
5th prize: USD 4,000 and a certificate
6th prize: USD 3,000 and a certificate
 
Senior group:
1st prize: USD 30,000 and a gold award certificate
2nd prize: USD 15,000 and a silver award certificate
3rd prize: USD 10,000 and a bronze award certificate
4th prize: USD 8,000 and a certificate
5th prize: USD 6,000 and a certificate
6th prize: USD 4,000 and a certificate
All above prizes shall be gross amount.
Special prizes:
For the best performance of a Chinese piece: USD 3,000
For the best performance of a Polonaise: USD 3,000
For the best performance of Mazurkas: USD 3,000
 
Additional prizes:
The top performer from Junior group and Senior group of the competition will be invited to visit Poland in 2017 sponsored by Poland Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
 
Article 8    Supplementary Notes on the Prizes
 
8.1 The laureates shall pay income tax according to Chinese law.
8.2 Stage II contestants who fail to qualify for the final will receive certificates of merit.
8.3 The judging board will have the right to decide to award a prize to more than one contestant, or not to award a prize to any contestant.
8.4 An extra prize of the Competition may be set up.
8.5 All decisions made by the judging board will not be subject to any change.
8.6 The certificate for Stage II contestants will be awarded upon completion of Stage II.
8.7 The certificates of merit, special prizes and extra prize will be awarded in the prize-winners’ concert.
8.8 The prize money will be awarded upon completion of all concerts concerned (no later than November 1, 2016).
8.9 All laureates will be required to play without remuneration in the prize-winners’ concert and three subsequent concerts. An absence from the prize-winners’ concert will be tantamount to the giving up of prize money. The laureates will be required to perform the exact repertoire as established by the Organizing Committee.
 
 
 
Article 9    Rights and interests of Contestants
 
9.1 For domestic contestants, the costs of travel to and from Beijing shall be borne by themselves. For overseas contestants, the Organizing Committee will provide a proper amount of travel allowance (USD 200 for those from Asia Pacific, and USD 500 for those from Europe and Americas).
9.2 The expenses for board and lodging as from Stage II and the costs of travel to and from Beijing of final contestants will be borne by the Organizing Committee (as per the standards determined by the Organizing Committee).
9.3 The Organizing Committee will make practice pianos available to all contestants. Contestants passed into the final will have one rehearsal with the orchestra.
9.4 The order of contestants’ performances drawn during the on-site registration will be observed till the completion of the Competition.
9.5 Contestants shall assign the following rights and interests free of charge to the Organizing Committee:
The copyrights to performances and all audiovisual recordings of the preliminary round, main competition and prize-winner’s concert (Assignment of the above-mentioned copyrights to performances includes reproducing, offering for sale, transferring, storing in computer and making available over the Internet; public replaying, exhibiting, displaying and licensing; cable and wireless dissemination by ground transmitters or satellite; live broadcasting and replaying via radio or TV).
9.6 The Organizing Committee will have the priority right to sign the laureates and other contestants (during and within three months of the Competition).
 
Article 10    Disclaimer
 
10.1 The Organizing Committee will not bear any liability for the cancellation or discontinuation of the Competition due to an event of force majeure.
10.2 In case of doubt, the Chinese version hereof shall prevail. The Organizing Committee will retain the right to interpreting the Rules.
10.3 The Rules may be subject to change. The latest version of the Rules released on the official website of the Organizing Committee shall prevail.
